You Made It…..

Welcome to my new blog, Ya’ll!!! I wanted to host a special give away to try and entice each and every one of my blog readers (few though they may be) to join me here at blog.carriebutlerphotography.com and to do so, I have come up with a plan! I will choose a comment leaver at random and that random comment reader will be the lucky recipient of a Target gift card, valued at a whopping $10!!!! The posts to come will still be filled with recantings of my life and the goings on of Team Butler, as well as photos and stories, just like the old blog, only this time it has my pretty logo on the top! So what are you waiting for? Post a comment!
Also, here are some pictures I got today of my pretty little babies playing in the snow while I “shoveled” the driveway. And notice I use the word “shoveled” lightly, because lets be honest, I am way too big a sissy to even begin to shovel a driveway correctly. I went out with grand intentions, but after the first shovel width line down the drive, I was pooped and all I could think is “we really should look into getting a snowblower.” So, you who live on my street, when you drive by my house tomorrow, be sure and slow down for the gal that is spinning her tires on pure ice, and take comfort that Mike will do it much better next snow storm, with his brand new snow blower. Also, you can actually click on the photos and view them gallery style, which I don’ t know if I like or not, so let me know what you think.

Hey girly! How are you doing? I luv the new blog and the gallery style view, however when you get into I couldn’t figure out how to get back to the blog without closing it out and clicking back on the link. Am I missing something?
Anyways, I can’t wait to hear more blogs and see your work progress. I have to try and talk Hayden into getting pictures this winter just because….when will you be back up and running again? And howz Brett?
Yay for your new blog! And you are way nicer then I am, I didnt even attempt to shovel, I let the big kids go out and play but I stayed nice and warm inside!!

I wish I could go back to a simpler time when going and playing in the snow and getting cold was an enjoyable thing. Ah, the innocence of children. They don’t know yet they’re supposed to hate the snow.
Looks fuhreezing and yes you should definately spring for a snow blower! btw will a shop vac work for that? Just wondering!

Only 4 people reading your blog huh? I think it is time to admit how popular you really are Carrie! Your girls are absolutely adorable. Obviously we are all a fan of your photography seeing as you have now done 2 family weddings plus family photos. Just wish I knew of your amazing talent when we got married!!
